Forklift Operator / Machine Off-sider

Key Responsibilities

Operate counterbalance forklifts to lift and move long lengths of sheet metal and bar.

Retrieve sheets from bays where they have been cut and/or welded to shape, and store them in racking until ready for use.

Assist as an off-sider for roll forming machinery.

Produce building products including roofs, gutters, flashings, and structural components.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

Current forklift licence and proven experience operating forklifts.

Ability to handle long steel products safely and efficiently.

Must pass drug and alcohol clearance prior to commencement.

Previous experience in manufacturing or similar environment.

Ability to work across rotating shifts.

Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
